We always enjoy visiting WW2 battlefields and this was our first in Africa. But the tour was a little dull and I obviously wasn't paying close enough attention when I told the guide at the end that I was surprised to hear the Dutch had been there too. Turns out she was saying the Deutsch! Duh- I blushed :)

El Alamein tour
We always enjoy visiting WW2 battlefields and this was our first in Africa.
