The biggest one in the world (except for the new one in China) unfortunately for the Egyptians the Dam has some "minor" drawbacks- they have an enormous rate of kidney failure probably due to the poor water quality when the Dam sends the minerals deep into the ground. One of my questions about Egypt was why the black market for organs was so active, now I know that it is not uncommon to be on dialysis there-v. unfortunate. A friend we made on the trip said both of his parents were on it. Another reason not to drink the water...
